    Day 1 :

    Arrival in Paris. Start with a guided panoramic city sightseeing of Paris, capital of France: place de l’Opera, place de la Concorde, the bridge Alexandre III, the Hotel de Ville, the Louvre and its pyramid, the illustrious Champs Elysees and Arc de Triomphe… . Lunch. Head to the very famous district of Montmartre. Drive up the hill thanks to the charming little train to explore the picturesque village of Picasso and Van Gogh, from the Moulin Rouge to the Sacré-Coeur, with fabulous views of Paris. Then, guided walking tour of the hill and village. Installation in your hotel rooms. Dinner. Overnight stay.

    Day 2 :

    Breakfast. Today, enjoy a cruise on the river Seine: explore Paris a little differently and uncover the historic heart of the city of lights whilst slipping down its most beautiful avenue. On a commented tour, discover The Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, Notre Dame, the Conciergerie, the Musée d’Orsay… These monuments, forming the true richness of Paris’ heritage, are absolute must-sees on a sightseeing holiday. Seeing Paris by boat gives you another perspective, enabling you to take into the historic heart of the capital in a new way, from a different angle. Lunch. In the afternoon, guided tour through the Covered Passages of Paris. From the Palais Royal, former residence of the French kings, your guide will take you along through the most majestic passages, place where the kings and princes were formerly exhibiting their works of art. Today classified as national monuments, this walk will enable you to plunge into a « time warp », cut off from street bustle. Then, reach the Opera Garnier for an original guided tour after closing! You will be amazed by the rich architecture and decor of the so-called « Palais Garnier ». The monument has got its mysteries, myths and incredible stories. Your guide will tell you the History of this architectural jewel through the tale of the famous phantom of the Opera, who will recount the 1001 anecdotes and other curiosities. Return to the hotel. Dinner. Overnight stay.

    Day 3 : Breakfast. Departure for the guided tour of one of the famous castles of the region:

    Versailles Palace, composed of the Palace, the gardens, the Park, the Trianon estate, today the Estate spreads over more than 800 hectares. Discover the most emblematic space of the castle, the Hall of Mirrors or Grand Hall.

    Or the Chantilly Castle, that consists of several areas: the apartments of the Duke of Aumale, the Condé Museum, the park, the Great Stables and the Horse Museum. The Condé Museum, counts the second collection of old paintings after the Louvre, with a wonderful collection of 800 masterpieces of Poussin, Ingres, Raphael, …

    Or even the Vaux-le-Vicomte Castle, fruit of a creative and passionate mind, that of Nicolas Fouquet. To build his home, he enlisted the services of three of the greatest artists of the Grand Siècle: the architect Louis Le Vau, the head gardener André Le Nôtre and the painter and decorator Charles Le Brun. They united their genius to build a model whose majesty and balance inspired the whole of Europe for over a century.

    Return to Paris. Lunch. In the afternoon, guided tour of the Galeries Lafayette. The company founded in Paris in December 1893 is today both an iconic store and monument of the capital, with a world-wide reputation. The building shows several architectural styles, demonstrating the successive enlargements of the store: Haussmann, Art Nouveau, Art Deco, and the drugstore spirit of the 1960s. This guided tour will take you through the aisles of the store, cross the emblematic spaces of the place and take the staff private elevators to the panoramic terrace, on which Jules Védrines, after flying over Paris, accomplished the feat of landing a plane in 1919. Return to the hotel.

    Possibility to spend your last evening in a mythic cabaret of Paris, where you will assist to a breath-taking revue show. Overnight stay.

     

    Day 4 :  Breakfast. Free time or transfer to the train station or airport for the return back in your country.
