    YOUR PROGRAM :

    Day 1 :

Arrival in Paris and transfer to your hotel.

Start your stay with a guided panoramic city sightseeing of Paris : place de l’Opéra, place de la Concorde, the bridge Alexandre III, the Hôtel de Ville, the Louvre museum and its pyramid, the famous Champs Elysées and Arc de Triomphe…

    Day 2 :

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, discover the emblematic Galeries Lafayette with a local guide and learn all the secrets and the history of this 120-year-old establishment. The company founded in Paris in December 1893 – 30 to 40 years after all its competitors – is today both an iconic store and a monument of the capital, with a world-wide reputation. The Galeries welcome more than 100,000 visitors per day over an area of 70,000 square meters! The building shows several architectural styles, demonstrating the successive enlargements of the store: Haussmann, Art Nouveau, Art Deco, and the drugstore spirit of the 1960s. At the centre of this unique heritage property is the neo-byzantine dome, the heart of this theatre of fashion. This guided tour will take you through the aisles of the store, cross the emblematic spaces of the place and take the staff private elevators to the panoramic terrace. You will understand how the founders of the department store invented an architecture adapted to the needs of commerce. Your guide will tell you the history of the majestic dome built in record time and the hidden message behind the 10 coats of arms which surmount the pillars of the great hall. An architectural and historical visit which will make you discover more than 120 years of history of a family business that has put the energy of creation at the heart of its project.

Short before lunch, walk to the close Printemps Haussmann Luxury department Store dating from 1865! Printemps stakes its claim as an indispensable monument offering a slice of French history and culture. Much more than a shopping destination, Printemps – a Historical Monument– promises exceptional surprises: on the 9th floor of Printemps Beauty-Home Store, all of Paris is at your feet! A panoramic terrace unveils what no other site can offer: an open, unobstructed view from the Opera to the Madeleine, from the Eiffel Tower to Montmartre.

Enjoy lunch at the Brasserie Printemps where the breath-taking view of the Art Deco cupola illustrates one of the most beautiful pages of the heritage represented by this Parisian symbol.
