Every year, a « Destination France » tour is organised by Atout France through Canada. This time, from February 25th to March 2nd, the event has been introduced to travel professionals in the cities of Québec and Montréal, followed then by Toronto and Vancouver.

Canadian tourism in France still has a great developing potential. 5th world destination and 2nd European destination for Canadians, France has welcomed a million visitors last year and stays amongst the most dream destinations of Canadians. With its huge territory and its multi-ethnic population, Canada offers an extremely diversified clientele. On one hand, very mature French-speaking Quebec clients principally composed by repeaters and on the other hand, English-speaking first-timers with European or Asian origins. Highlights of this target audience are most likely city breaks and shopping, culture and heritage tourisms, cruises, golf and ski holidays.
