    Day 1 :

    Departure with your guide for the visit of Collioure, a magnificent city located at the end of a bay and dominated by the royal castle. The greatest painters, Matisse in particular, came here to immortalize on canvas the sunrises over the Mediterranean see. Visit of an anchovy workshop and tasting. Transfer to Port-Vendres, a fishing port, Banyuls with its terraced vineyard which produces the grapes used to make the aperitif. Continue to the Spanish Costa Brava for lunch. Discovery of the magnificent bay of Rosas, then visit of Figueras, known all over the world as the home town of Salvador Dali, where he exhibited his works. Shopping stop at Perthus before returning to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

    Day 2 :

    Breakfast. Road to Villefranche-de-Conflent where you will board the little yellow train, emblem of the Catalan Pyrenees, which will drive you through amazing landscapes. Arrival at Font Romeu for lunch. Continue to Mont-Louis, fortified citadel by Vauban and visit of the solar oven, the first experimental solar oven in the world. Return to Villefranche-de-Conflent, marble fortress. At the same time classified under the French label “most beautiful villages of France” and UNESCO World Heritage Site, this place is a must-see! Back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

    Day 3 :

    Breakfast. Departure to Perpignan. Guided tour of the ancient capital of the kings of Majorca: the sea lodge, the Saint-Jean cathedral, the town hall, the Castelet… Visit of the palace of the kings of Majorca. Lunch. Road to Salses and commented visit of the fortress built by the Spanish Catholic kings to block the access of Roussillon to the French troops. Continuation to the coast and the Leucate ponds. Stop in an oyster farm to discover the history of the oyster culture and the way to harvest followed of course by a tasting. Continue to Barcarès, where you will admire magnificent panoramas between sea and mountains, including the stranded boat the Lydia. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

    Day 4 :

    Breakfast. Road to Argelès. Enjoy a cruise to explore the rich marine life of Cape Bear. You’ll pass along the side of the “smugglers’ cave” and admire the bay of Paulilles, Banyuls and the beginning of the Spanish coast. Lunch. Continue to Elne. Ecclesiastical capital of Roussillon from 568 to 1602, it shelters a magnificent Romanesque cathedral dating from the 11th century as well as a white and blue veined marble cloister built between the 12th and the 14th centuries. The cloister invites you to discover two eras, two styles, two sensibilities: the Romanesque and the Gothic. Guided tour. End your day in Saint Cyprien, a small residential town divided into two sites: the old village inland and the seaside resort. Free time. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

    Day 5 :

    Breakfast. Departure to Sète. Guided tour of the town between the Thau lake and the Mediterranean: the canals, the port, the Mont Saint-Clair with its view overlooking the town, the cemetery and the Corniche beach. Lunch.
