    Day 1

    Arrival in Bergues. Installation at the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.

    Day 2

    Breakfast. Guided walking tour of Bergues, emblematic city since the film “Bienvenue chez les Ch’tis” was shot there. This Flemish city boasts a magnificent belfry, listed as a world heritage site by UNESCO in 2005. Visit of a craft brewery with tasting. Lunch in an “estaminet”, typical local restaurant. Continuation through the Mounts of Flanders to visit Cassel, elected favourite village of the French in 2018. Discovery of its old mill and its fields of hops and flax. Visit of the Flax House in the country of Hondschoote. Discovery of a rare Flemish curiosity: the organs of Herzeele, three mechanical organs, as beautiful as they are imposing. Return to the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.

    Day 3

    Breakfast. Departure for the panoramic guided tour of Lille, city of “Art and History” to discover Euralille, the exteriors of the Palace of Fine Arts, the city hall and its great belfry, the Porte de Paris. Lunch. Guided walking tour of Lille old town: the Grand Place, the old stock exchange, the opera, the Beauregard walk with its fourteen houses lined up, the “Oignon square” and other narrow streets up to the Treille cathedral. Continuation to Roubaix for the visit of the swimming pool museum. This André-Diligent museum of art and industry, presents composite collections of applied arts and fine arts built up from the 19th century including fabrics, decorative arts, sculptures, paintings. Return to the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.

    Day 4

    Breakfast. Departure for a guided boat tour of the industrial port of Dunkerque. Dscovery of the town of Jean Bart and continuation to Malo-les-Bains. Lunch “mussels and chips” by the beach. Visit of the Dunkerque 1940 Operation Dynamo museum which tells the incredible story of this battle and the evacuation of more than 330,000 allied soldiers from the “Dunkerque pocket” in less than 10 days. Panoramic guided tour of Dunkerque, a city with two belfries classified as World Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. Return to the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.

    Day 5

    Breakfast. Departure to Ostend. Guided tour of the city nicknamed the “Queen of the beaches”, on the Belgian North Sea coast. Discovery of its neo-gothic church, a building with magnificent stained-glass windows and the mausoleum of the French princess Louise Marie of Orléans, wife of the first king of Belgium, who died in Ostend. Tasting of a Flemish galette. Continuation to Bruges. Lunch followed by a guided tour and discovery of the Venice of the North by the canals. Free time. Belgian chocolate sampling. Return to the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.

    Breakfast. Return to your region.
