    Day 1 :

    Arrival in Paris. Departure towards Giverny. Discovery of the village, famous worldwide thanks to the painter Claude Monet and tour of his house and gardens, where the master of the impressionism lived for 43 years. Passionate gardener, he designed his flower and water gardens like real art works. By wandering through the site, visitors feel the peaceful atmosphere and are amazed from the flower compositions. Then visit the close Impressionism Museum. Lunch. Continue the route to Rouen. At your arrival, guided tour of the historical centre of Rouen, its huge cathedral and its fascinating heritage, a real « must-see »: gothic churches and mansions, half-timbered houses, well-maintained public gardens. It’s also named “the city of 100 bell towers” after the words of Victor Hugo. Dinner. Overnight stay.

    Day 2 :

    Breakfast. Departure to the famous Etretat cliffs. This small fishing harbour became famous because of its beautiful limestone cliffs painted by Monet. Free time to follow the path leading to the panorama to admire the views with permanents colour changing depending on the light. Continue to Le Havre. Guided tour of the rebuilt city, destroyed after World War II and classified at UNESCO World Heritage, and its impressive Saint Joseph church. Lunch at the MuMa or Malraux Museum restaurant, with view on the seashore. Visit of the museum, showing paintings from impressionists. Drive to Honfleur. Free time in this charming and colourful little harbour. Back to the hotel. Dinner. Overnight stay.

    Day 3 :

    Breakfast. Departure towards Caen for a guided tour by coach of the D-Day landing beaches of Normandy: on the morning of 6th June 1944, the Normandy coastline was scattered with Allied landing ships and warships were sitting further out, prepared for naval bombardment of the German guns. In Arromanches, discover the remains of its port who was meant to be temporary. Lunch. Continue the tour at the American cemetery of Colleville-sur-Mer, place of meditation and souvenirs. Then, stop in Omaha Beach, second beach from the west among the five landing areas of the Normandy invasion and the Pointe du Hoc, place of the incredible exploit of Colonel Rudder’s men, the so-called « Rangers ». Dinner. Overnight stay.

    Day 4 :

    Breakfast. Departure for the guided tour of the Mont Saint-Michel. Situated in the middle of a grandiose bay, it is said to be « the wonder of the western world ». After going through the fortified gate with its portcullis, walk through the main street, with its museums, shops and houses dating from the 15th & 16th centuries, like the last house of famous « Mère Poulard ». After admiring the Abbey church, enjoy the beautiful and matchless view over the bay when going down the ramparts path. Lunch. Departure to Cancale, sweet fishing port. Visit of a marine farm where your will discover the hard work of the sea gardeners through the history of the oyster and its environment. Sampling of 3 oysters with lemon, a glass of white wine and a buttered piece of bread. Return to the hotle. Dinner. Overnight stay.

    Breakfast. Departure for the return back in your country.
